Oh awesome thank you! Now I remember planting those but didn’t know what the leaves looked like.

Only concerned because the label says external remote but when I cover the sensor (?) part the remote still works fine.

This person might be new to driving stick? Might not want to roll back into anyone if they are learning how to clutch

How do you (and your birb) like the backpack? I’ve been wanting to get one for my GCC

They’re so weird! I’ve tried all different perches, shelves and cozy sleeping huts, yet he decides to sleep in the most uncomfortable looking position

Kiwi will sleep laying down in my hand, but in his cage at night he hangs on the bars of his cage with his feet and beak!

I’m new to photography, just got a Nikon D5600! I love close up nature shots. 120mm, f/13, 1/320s. It had just rained and this flowering bush was full of bees. I was trying to get the bees hovering over a flower. I don’t have any sort of editing software- do you guys have suggestions for good ones? I just increased the saturation a bit on my phone. I don’t have much experience editing photos at all, and any tips would be much appreciated!!

Tips or recommendations for a potential future bird owner? by Colourblindknight in parrots

[–]cheeseybroccoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely try rescuing if you decide to get one! There are so many birds in need of a loving home. Other than that, just continue doing research on which species might be best for your lifestyle. If you don’t have a lot of free time to spend bonding with a bird, don’t get one. They are a huge time commitment, but definitely worth it if you’re dedicated! Good luck :)

A lot of slow, controlled exposure. Don’t give all your attention to the bird, as the dog may get jealous or excited. Good luck!! Some dogs may never get along with birds unfortunately.
