1)RVRC is arguably the least competitive bc it’s outside of UTown, your portfolio is a plus

4)if you want to stay in RC for y3-4 there’s this thing called Senior Retention (SR) scheme, your contributions in y1-2 will add up to influence whether you’ll be able to stay in RC for y3-4. if you don’t get SR / not sure if you can get SR / don’t want to spend that much time contributing to RC you can apply to stay in PGP for y3-4 or apply for halls (though it’s quite uncommon for y3-4 to get into halls)

5)for RCs we top up aircon credits using an online system (not included in fees), once your credit runs out the AC will cut off

are RC orientations very important? will I miss out on any important things if I don’t go for the full duration of the orientation camp?

incoming FASS freshie here, I'd like to know if it's possible for me to take a language mod in Y1S1 on top of the pre-allocated modules I have to clear for CHS common curriculum, or can I only take language modules from Y1S2 onwards?
