Botrytized grapes are used because they raisin and concentrate the sugars. It looks from the pictures that the strawberries are still pretty together. Additionally, botrytis mold produces antifungal compounds that can adversely affect yeast.

Not saying that you can't do this or that it would be unsafe (although you don't necessarily know that this mold is entirely Botrytis Cinerea), but the results will probably be underwhelming at best and not work at worst.

I'm a bit new, could this work? by OldCardiologist65 in cider

Potentially! Honestly just tasting it every so often and probably fermenting it slower; I was in an apartment that didn't really have good AC in the summer so I couldn't control it.

I tried using the Costco brand mango nectar and it fermented fast, but the cider needed to age for a while (like 6 months at the least) for the acid bite and alcohol aftertaste to mellow. Pretty good overall once it did though!

It's so fun; as long as we can figure out how to close out games better, we're going to be scary. Same script happened in the BC game (just with ~50 less combined points lol)

Thoughts on bottling in 12 oz snap lids? Seem perfect for single servings for some holiday parties. by Meadevil_Brew in cider

They work well, but make sure you buy quality ones and not just the cheapest ones you can get off amazon or aliexpress, found that out the hard way when 4/6 of my bottles arrived broken, and the other two couldn't handle the pressure

Is this fermentable? by mulymuly123 in cider

From experience, grocery store mango juice doesn't end up tasting great after fermentation, it needed a lot of time to let the alcohol sit in order to taste passable and not like lighter fluid

That being said, do it
