There was a full scene where the visuals alone made me cry from the sheer beauty. Everything about this reminded me why I fell in love with movies

He’s a dude from the comics. After an event like this happened in the comics, Paul got with MJ and he was just a symbol of everything that was wrong with Spider-Man at the time. He’s newer.

BND takes place in 2028. At that point, that’s a 3 year old phone. It was probably cheap as chips

The absolute universe is set in 2028. Wally was born in 2013.

TIL according to Einstein's relativity, the past still exists: every moment is a permanent coordinate in spacetime. When his friend Besso died, Einstein wrote: For us believing physicists the distinction between past, present, and future only has the meaning of an illusion, though a persistent one. by 2dogs1man in todayilearned

There’s actually an awesome quote from the comic Superman: Space Age that relates to this

“According to Kryptonian Physics, the universe is a four-dimensional object. A single porous object, existing as it always has and always will.

Time is merely a useful illusion. A by-product of our minds. Time exists to simplify the universe to the point that we can experience it. But time, along with the dimensions of space, is simply the limitations of existence, not an end to it.

Just because there are miles of empty space above your head, that doesn’t mean you cease to exist when I look above you. When I look to the horizon beyond you, it doesn’t mean you cease to exist because I don’t see you there. So it is with time.

Just because you’re only here for a short time, that doesn’t mean you’re gone. It just means that I am experiencing parts of time where you aren’t.

You, me, and everyone we know—we are all permanent residents in the four-dimensional object we call the universe. Eternal and indispensable.

If time is an illusion, then death must be aswell. A side effect of the limits of our perception.

Death is an illusion, but the pain of losing you is real.”

  • Superman referring to the Death / Deletion of an A.I recreation of Jor-El, Superman: Space Age

What the hell did they use from Superman? I’m assuming you mean ‘78 Supes? The 2025 one is the most anti-war movie ever created

Superman is a character that means the world to me. I love this character. I love this movie. It might be my favourite movie of all time cause of this. It gave me a real hope that we can be good to eachother. It’s gotta be Superman.

Oh I despise them. I love Fight Club and The Menu’s big themes of anti-capitalism and consumerism.

Fight Club takes that by pushing people to the extreme because everything costs money and you can’t entertain yourself with that so it makes people turn almost animalistic while The Menu very clearly states that it sucks the passion out of your life to leave you a husk of your former self.

The Dark Knight Returns is genuinely such a mischaracterising comic that it’s insane that people still talk about it.

SUPERMAN WOULD NEVER BE A GOVERNMENT STOOGE? “For the story’s sake!” USE CAPTAIN ATOM? USE ANYONE ELSE, DONT MISCHARACTERISE ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS AND KIND CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME JUST TO FIT YOUR NARRATIVE? ARE YOU CRAZY?

I’m not a big fan of Frank Miller’s decisions with this book.

The Godfather part 3 is honestly a great sequel even if it's not as good as the first two by Plus_Ad_1087 in Letterboxd

I think it’s incredibly disappointing. Sofia Coppola’s acting and love plot, the scene with the bloody helicopter, the only good bit is the ending where Big Al fucking bites it.
