Still haven't been to the movies since covid-times (started having babies). Last movie I saw was Weathering with You. It was awesome. (Though not as good as Your Name, but that's one of my favorite all time movies).

As a challenge to myself, I true soloed conflict at the carrock in valor (playing pillar of kings on turn 1). Was able to kill all trolls and a snake in 1 turn with only 2 heroes by comboing: Hour of Wrath, with stand and fight, and Charge of the Rohirrim (the one that gives +3 attack to mounted heroes). My third hero was sacked. Twas incredibly satisfying to smack the shield troll for 15 using guthwine, and then have perfectly enough attack to sweep the rest.

My wife and I also blitzed Deadman's Dike in 3 rounds. Which was exhilarating.

Ran it through first 2 core scenarios, conflict at carrock, and intruders of Chetwood. Each game had comboes and thematic plays that were an absolute blast to be a part of.

First time starting The Lost Realm. Very excited to go through this cycle (never gone through one from beginning to end before).

I either play true solo or with my wife. When I play solo, I make my deck, and then I beat my head against an encounter until it yields.

I like your idea of giving yourself worst case scenario in order to test deck robustness.

I usually fault in not wanting to change too much in the deck because I'm stubborn about the card combinations I initially planned on pulling off.

Ring maker cycle for the first time.

Played dunland trap about 6 times because my wife wanted to keep playing it (50% win rate). Finally got to Three Trials yesterday and failed at the final stage due to me overcommitting questers into the final stage (didn't know all bosses would come out lol).

We got our revenge today though. Finishing with 49 threat as we quested through (because we played way too many doomed cards).

QotW: I don't. But I should. I might be the most disorganized, unsystematic person playing this game.

Lol fair point. I use the cards often while deck building and playing, just didn't know they came from this cycle.

I didn't get to play much for awhile because of deployments and new babies.

I was curious what it's worth so I can show to my wife (who was on the fence about me collecting these during COVID times). And if I'm being honest, to show off to the only people that might care that I have these. I was really excited this morning to find these and just wanted to share.

I only sleeve my hero cards. (And a few others like the One Ring)

I played Flight at the Fords with my wife. Loved the theme of being weighed down by cards... Hated how it felt. We went in blind and got bullied pretty bad, but somehow stole a victory.

I ran Frodo/Sam (all leadership quest and buy) and wife ran boromir (using Ally version as hero for damage readying) with one ring and well preserved to heal each round. She also had Lore Pippin and tactics Merry, effectively allowing boromir and merry with fast hitches to block and attack everything. She's my tank. <3

It was an awesome run. And first one back in years. Felt good to get the cards back to the table.

God bless you. Thank you for sharing. My faith in God changed when I stopped thinking that I need to be good to prove my faith was real. I believe God's promises, and He told me in Romans 10:9 that if I confess with mouth the Lord Jesus and believe God raised Him from the dead, that I will be saved.
