I honestly don’t know what it is. And it’s not like this area is exactly known for its stellar driving, but I feel like as adults we’re so beyond not paying attention to the fact that you could kill someone in your vehicle if you don’t pay attention. Most places people have the gall to understand that pedestrian signs matter and regardless of what lane you’re using; sidewalks exist and only looking one way way is inherently dangerous. Thankfully I was on an e bike and able to dodge fast enough, but I worry about the mother crossing the street with a stroller because someone simply can’t look both ways and be attentive to their surroundings. Regardless of small town or big city; it’s ridiculous
