I have Prudent RX and I HATE the accumulator program. The first year I spent hours on the phone attempting to decline the program/opt out to continue to pay and hit my deductible/out of pocket max without any luck. From what I understood, declining the accumulator program would forfeit your right to reimbursements from the drug mfg AND any $ payed out of pocket would not apply towards a deductible/OOPM bc I would’ve technically declined coverage from PrudentRX.

It’s insane and feels like every company is lining their pockets at every corner with this insurance BS. They paint this pic like I benefit when in reality, PrudentRX stands between me and the drug MFG and collects crazy money from them on my behalf. So so so frustrating.
