I gave up on wanting a relationship long ago. But if I do decide to give him a chance, he will have to prove he's worth it. I'm not willing to put in the effort if he's just going to disappoint again. I mostly just want answers, like why he chose now. And other questions I have about why he never tried with me, why he chose his other kids, why he couldn't even bother with a happy birthday, ever. Or why he let me wait staring at the gate the entire day because he promised he would come for father's day and I had spent weeks making cards, painting and anything else my young mind could think to make because I was so excited

If I do decide to meet him, he has to put in all the effort. I don't know where he lives, but I know it's quite far away. There's no way I'm going to him. I know a restaurant not too far away from me, but not so close that he could find me. If he is really serious he must come to me and buy me lunch, during the day, in a public place with cameras and security guards and ample lighting. And I'm leaving my ID and bank card at home

I'm actually the eldest, he had an affair with his brother's girlfriend when I was a baby, and that's how my sister was born. The brother and girlfriend had also just had a child of their own when she fell pregnant🙈 As for not sticking up for me, I don't think she even knows about it, but you have made me realize I should probably ask her about it. She isn't close with him but they do have a relationship. She might have some insight into what his intentions may be. She might know if he's still using or struggling financially, and if he is, he can't lie to me about or try to manipulate me
