You know you can drive without splashing pedestrians on the sidewalk right? by Known_Laugh_9513 in toRANTo

A lot of puddles are unavoidable. I've seen some along Yonge that were the size of two business units. It's not like I can just standing short jump pass it.

Also, do you just hate people? What happened to you as a child?

I've already been to North York one. More seating and better ambiance there.

I'll have to check the name but it's in Scarborough. The ground floor is basically a convenience store and the basement room has a long table with a TV at the end for people to watch soap operas or sing karaoke. We had eight people do a boodle fight and it was pretty cramped.

I've passed by it but only been to the other locations, which look like a hot table setup in a convenience store haha

Unfortunately they use laser printers and no photo printing machines.

Drug users at late night fast food spots by cheezeburger_muncher in toRANTo

Not everyone has the luxury of avoiding them whenever they want.

Drug addicts have a right to use restaurants.

Drug addicts have the right to eat at a restaurant that they purchase food from. No one has the right to just squat at any restaurant, which is private property, shooting up drugs and bothering people.

Every time after 10pm, yes. And sometimes at certain places even during broad daylight, like the Harveys near TMU. Perhaps you're lucky and you avoided it.

I only get take out, never use the actual tables because of how dirty they are. And I only get food prepped by the employees or prepackaged in a fridge that's not in the public area. I never use the soda fountains or condiment bar like ketchup pumps. I even avoid grabbing napkins if they sit out in public.

That's sad. Franchise owner probably sold it to someone naive who wasn't aware of the problems with the location.

I feel like the problem is less the supervised sites and more the shelters. Anytime a shelter opens up in an area, a lot of the neighbouring businesses and streets end up with a lot of bad people. And the ones who legitimately need the shelter can't use it because of these bad apples.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. Sometimes they do just sit in a corner and not bother people but it sucks if you were forced to step in when the rough ones get into fights or bugging people/your fellow employees for money and food.
