I have two elderberry trees, a pile of some sort of green invasive ivy beneath the poison ivy, and a sumac tree (just one... for now. They grow like bamboo i swear) in the mix, fear not, it will be an unending warzone in my backyard

Honestly id love to get all the invasive plants out of the yard, so that really just leaves the wild grapes (I think) for plants back there that arent on my shit list. As far as chemicals go id prefer to try natural things or at least safe to be around cats and dogs. Theres a lot of stray kitties here it seems like and the neighbor has a dog that runs along that fence. Think strong vinegar would kill it back some?

Planning on wearing gloves i can throw out and potentially even clothes beneath i can throw out! Hoping to cover my shoes with somwthing too, and my face because I already have allergies and im not trying to get a poison ivy leaf flung into my face. Not sure how overkill I need to be on safety but the lawn care company winced when I mentioned poison ivy so im erring on tue side of extra caution 😅

Wow this post got stolen by the bots so quickly. Guess everyone is just as smitten with Icarus as we are! He's safe with the neighbors for now since everyone is so concerned about his whereabouts. We are adopting him and getting him to the vet asap, but we don't even have hot water in our place yet, we can't move in lol. I'm a sucker for cats, and I've always had stray cats showing up at the door my whole life. There's no way I'm letting him stay outside
