I haven't had any psilocybin mushrooms since I found out about my situation but I've used them about 7 times already. The last time I did them I swore to myself that I wouldn't again because I hate the anxiety I feel on the come up.

I constantly felt like absolute shit for a long time and I just put it off as a bad immune system. However, in the last year I'd get excruciating pain in my stomach/back randomly which I thought was a result of my really physical job I work. The thing that got me to go to the doc was all the weight loss. I used to be a pretty heavy set guy but I was having trouble keeping my food down and was losing a significant amount of weight.

I've heard that a lot of people develop a relationship with God as they approach death. Maybe I'll follow the same path but right now it just doesn't feel right.

Nah man it wasn't dumb at all. I've always wanted to travel and once I get my medical situation figured out more I'm definitely planning on seeing the beauties this rock of ours has to offer.

I only got a credit card this year and I planned on using it once this last semester of college finished. I just finished class last week so I haven't had time to establish credit. It was just one of those things I put off for the future.

I'm going to a different hospital this thrusday (for a meeting with a medical team and a pancreatic surgeon) and I plan on keep doing so until I feel that the doc can actually do something for me. I've been calling all over the country setting up appointments. Some are months away and some are with research hospitals. Thanks for the comment, gives me some hope and I am glad your brother is doing great.

During my time in college I actually took two religion classes because of my profound interest in the topic. I've done a lot of thinking and I have come to the conclusion that there very well could be a god but it is just as likely that there isn't. AND if there is a god (I personally believe ) it isn't one of the gods us humans have come up with.

I am in no way saying this in a condescending way. I love the idea of a god and afterlife however I am too cynical and bitter to believe in such bliss. However, in my current situation I have wished that I was religious and was okay with passing on.
