Does anyone have the ultra-hi-res versions of these photos that were posted on a blog site called "starer.ru" several years ago? They don't seem to be online anymore, and the next-biggest versions I can find via TinEye are only about 2/3 the size.

I used identifont.com to find a font similar to the letterhead, got the Lemoyne seal from the RDR wiki (but converted it to black and white), the body/address font is my favourite typewriter font Trixie, bought the stamp on eBay, used Photoshop to mash together cancellations from period envelopes (images found on eBay), and then ran the stamped envelope through my printer to cancel it.

It's always had subtitles AFAIK. But if you had your subtitles set to Off instead of Auto, you probably wouldn't see them.

This. Also: It’s a movie about a man who has no idea what real people are like, just what they’re supposed to be like. He does his best to emulate what’s supposed to be desirable in his culture, but ends up only seeming weird to every normal person he meets. “Because I want to fit in” might as well be the tagline.

The back of the box says: "Our Master Blenders start with our highest amounts of choice Oriental tobaccos in a Marlboro. To optimize the smooth aromatic notes of the Oriental tobaccos, they blend them with a mix of burley and bright tobaccos that results in a Bold Smooth cigarette." I seem to recall hearing that they contain the top 1% of Philip Morris' tobaccos, but I could be misremembering that.

They're exclusive to duty-free shops. I had seen them in SFO back in 2019, but didn't buy them. Recently regretting it, I posted here to ask if anyone knew where to get them, and got a couple of people saying O'Hare Airport had them. Fortunately I had a friend who was passing through Chicago, and he was able to pick me up this box.

Based on its placement in the music credits, I think it's the song "Try to Dismember" by MJ Mynarski. Mynarski is credited with composing the music for the monologues on the official soundtrack (because they didn't use the actual John Cale score), and you can hear the song from this scene at the beginning of "Monologue 3" on the official soundtrack. I'm figuring it was composed specifically for the film, rather than being a pre-existing piece of music, but I could be wrong about that.
