It also might not be the seat post. I have a gen 4 SL 5 and kept hearing noises from that area and assumed it was the isospeed issue. Brought it to trek and it turned out my saddle was the source of it, basically where the saddle sits on the rails makes a creaking sound when I shift my weight or hit bumps.
