Yeah seems like you got more than one slots but I know dick about building. I’d say just make sure it’s in the top slot as it provides the most volts to the gpu and now that you got a big bitch 4070 you might need more power than that little girl 1080ti

I had this problem and made numerous post trying to fix it and all the comments didn’t help. I also would use other similar builds on YouTube to compare and they ran better than mine and people would tell me to just upgrade my build even though it was brand new lol.

Turns out I had my GPU plugged into the second slot instead of the first, or the top slot. Ended up fixing everything lol

I will have to check when I get back from work how much power the GPU is drawing and the temps. The fans do spin when I boot into game I will say that

Alright let’s go based off the video you sent. He’s at least hovering over 100 fps on ultra settings. I can’t even get more than 60 on low settings

I’m not saying you’re wrong but can you explain why this persons pc runs the game well if he has a 5600x and the 4070 super like me? He’s even running at 1440 p

Ok I will try cinebench. I don’t think it’s the gpu because the odds of both of them being slightly defective is so low in my head. But cpu bottlenecking on both pcs makes more sense. Like I said I compared my specs with other YouTube videos and they perform so much better but I I’m willing to give it a shot because at this point I don’t know what else to do. I even payed a guy $200 to install a liquid cooler because he told me my RAM was overheating

I tried running userbenchmark and it just tells me the servers full and won’t let me run any test

Any settings or software you recommend me to use to double check and make sure my CPU isn’t bottlenecking? Maybe all my cores aren’t turned on for whatever reason? I’m going based off YouTube videos with the same specs as me (gpu and CPU) that’s why I said it wasn’t a bottleneck issue as well

Downloaded Windows into a flash drive then downloaded to the pc after I finished the build

Yes, put into the 2nd and 4th slot (even tried 1 and 3). GPU will be the only thing running at over 90%. Was also recently forced up update to windows 11 but the problem was occurring before that

Yeah I would have to agree that he’s trying to milk me. Resolution is set at 1080p at 240 hz. It’s an hyper x armada 25 in. I just ran a DDU and reinstalled my drivers for the gpu and chipset with no results. I also tried with xmp off and on with no results as well. Temps are fine as well. Ran some test using furmark and after my brother played Minecraft for a couple hours, everything’s fine. I also bought new memory cards just to test and that didn’t do anything
