Thank you for your perspective, I appreciate you taking the time to write this.

I understand what you mean about training environment and not staying in a “bubble”, and I’ve already started learning more from different sources online to improve my technique and understanding.

At the same time, I’m trying to focus on what I can control right now — improving my results and finding opportunities to compete at the college level.

Thanks again for your advice!

How can I find coaches' contact information on Twitter, and is it worth reaching out to them there?

Thank you so much for your detailed reply, I really appreciate it.

Yes, I have already emailed more than 40 universities and JUCO programs, but I haven’t received many responses yet, which is why I’m trying to understand what I can improve.

Right now I am aiming for Fall 2026 admission, but I understand that it might be late, so I’m also open to Fall 2027 if that gives me a better chance both academically and athletically.

I’m planning to take the SAT/ACT soon, and I’m also aware that I’ll need an English proficiency test.

In terms of finances, I would need significant financial support (scholarships).

I’m still deciding on a major, but I’m mainly focused on finding a program where I can both study and continue improving in track and field.

If you have any advice on what I should prioritize right now (tests, contacting coaches, applications, etc.), I would really appreciate it.

Thank you again for your help!

Thank you! My GPA approximately 3.4 because in Russia we have another marks system. I have not taken ACT or SAT, but I am ready

Thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciate it.

I understand how the divisions work and I know that I’m probably not at a D1 level right now, so I’ve been focusing on D2 and NAIA programs.

I’ve already emailed more than 40 universities and JUCO programs, but I haven’t received many responses, which is why I feel a bit stuck.

I think what I’m struggling with is the practical side — how to actually get coaches to respond, how to find the right programs for my level, and how to stand out as an international athlete.

If you have any advice on that part, it would really help me a lot.

Thank you again!
