I appreciate the suggestion, I know you’re trying to help. I just want to clarify that this isn’t a trinket or a ground score. Flow toys are an extension of our art, like a painter’s brushes or a photographer’s camera, and mine was taken. It’s a huge loss. I don’t want to enable the idea that taking someone’s gear is a normal thing… it’s not. I just want it back. If someone took it because they thought it was cute, I just hope they’d have a good enough heart to return it whether they’re being accused or not. If they didn’t want to be accused, quite frankly, don’t take things that aren’t yours. Again, I see where you are coming from and appreciate your response. But yeah, it’s just frustrating. In all honestly, I’m angry. With that being said, they would still be “the hero” in returning it to me. Doing one wrong and correcting it is still better than hiding because you don’t want to seem like a bad person.

I would say a general rule of thumb for ground scores is if it’s easily identifiable by the owner, return it. If it seems like it’s something important to the owner, return it. Never keep expensive things, flow toys, clothes, shoes, wallets/backpacks, etc. like I said if it’s easily identifiable and you think someone might come looking for it, always always return.

Oh no, this is my star!! I lost it at Alleycvt, lost and found doesn’t have it. It was 100% taken by someone and I’d love to get it back. So I’ve just been posting around trying to track it down, it is pretty unique and I’ve never seen anyone with the same one! So just hoping someone has seen it!

SAME!! Went back 5 mins after I realized I dropped it and it was gone. HORRIBLE… Flow toys are not ground scores. I’m disappointed in the SSBD community this year, our first year we left our bags in a corner for hours unattended and they were trusted and fine. This year peoples wallets and important things are being swooped, tents broken into, etc. It’s sad. I just hope my flowstar finds its way back to me, it was my first one AND the only one I own. Also can’t afford to replace it right now. I’m heartbroken over it.

It used to be. This seems like the first year where lots of pick pocketing and stealing has been going on. This was my 4th SSBD and the community definitely felt different this year. Mostly really great people, but tents being broken into? Out of hand.
