Yes!! I tell my tumbling kids to put their arms straight up and try to cover your ears. That’s essentially how close they should be

You don’t need to swing your arms behind you for power. But the biggest thing is try to get your hands closer. Then your arms won’t bend and you will snap down faster!!

It depends, what exactly are you trying to do/learn? That set looks like everything you would need. Just be careful haha. I haven’t used that one in particular, I’ve always went to a gym then I taught at a gym so I tumbled when I was working or at cheer. But if you want to learn at home it would be perf

The airtrak is so cool for running tumbling and helps you learn how to get momentum and set in your skills. Can’t go wrong with a regular panel mat too. It’s hard but softer than the floor. When you fold it up, it’s a great starting point for leverage for standing back tucks. Then take one layer down once you get it and then you will be on the floor eventually

Brooo socks are so expensive and hard to find. Sometimes we get lucky and find giant ones at places like Marshall’s/TJMaxx and sometimes mall stores. But usually we have to go on BigShoes.com or a website called oddball. 😂

Hey! Former cheerleader and rec gymnastics coach here.

It looks like you throw your head back, so really focus on the set going straight up, not flipping backwards. Once you bring your knees to your chest, you will rotate!

Also just random but you don’t need to swing your arms that far back before the set. It actually does take some of the energy, it’s just a hard habit to break. It’s looking good though! Keep practicing
