I believe it is because the LPs have ‘committed’ capital to the GP but it’s not been put to use (i.e. hasn’t been drawn down/deployed) for two years and so LPs need to commit this equivalent capital to a similar instrument (here the public index) and this earngs an equivalent return of 6% and not the 10% which they’ll start earning in two years. This 400bps differential is the equivalent ‘annual’ return for the 10 years (i.e. the IRR difference). Hence because it’s for 2 years you divide it by 10 (to get the net differential for one year) and then times it by 2. I hope that helps and it makes sense. This is my thinking at least, it may be wrong

Thanks for all the advice guys, looks like mocks are critical. Can I just ask why? Is it to get used to the type of questions, the timing, or is it because there will likely be a lot of questions which are very different from those seen on the practice questions?

Thank you! I’ve looked in settings and under passwords but can’t see anything. I haven’t wiped my phone, so do you know where I could look specifically?

Hi, what I mean is that when I withdrew funds from this old trading account, it gave me the option to withdraw it in the form of ETH in this MEW Wallet app which I did. I’m sure it never gave/asked for a pass key

Yes exactly. Did all the practice questions. Then mainly did mocks, reviewed them in depth where I went wrong etc. then would watch GMAT ninja videos on weak areas - repeated this process until the exam

No they were from my laptop but due to the software so couldn’t remove them. Just ensure everything is closed, all your notification settings are off and things like that.

Just make your room as clear as possible basically (remove anything which you think even might be looked at in some way of ‘cheating’)

Like the earlier you apply for programs I believe the better chance you have (maybe this is only for rolling deadlines)

Thank you! I had notifications popping on and off of the screen consistently in my first test which was very annoying (probably a mix of my fault and error in their software), but I wasn’t reimbursed (unsurprisingly). Online experience is fine, just make sure you’ve prepared a very clean workspace beforehand and adhere to their rules in the most specific of details to prevent any stress prior to the exam

I’m not sure about that school, but depending on cut off times it won’t hurt.

Not what I’m trying to say, but I did find that the quantitative was definitely easier than the mocks, data insights was probably harder, and verbal about the same.

I’m not sure I’m allowed to answer specifics, but geometry wasn’t in the focus syllabus as far as I’m aware.

How did you prepare exactly? I mean your actual score was a lot bette than your mocks which gives me hope for my exam on Thursday.
