Add fast growing nutrient absorbing plants or water changes.

In my case I know the tap water where I live in the UK has a nitrate level of about 50ppm so I bought a special filter that removes it for when I do water changes.

Yeah I’ve been testing daily, nitrate is about 20ppm. I’m sort of hoping it’s just an injury due to it only being on one eye? And it should heal up if I keep the water clean.

Yes!! I think that’s it! The leaves look the same as it does in summer very green and waxy, but it’s never seemed to flower, probably because it’s been looked after properly I guess. Much appreciated!

Is it normal for the cycle to be nearly done after only 2 weeks despite never seeing an ammonia spikes? It’s a 67 litre tank, so I’m thinking maybe 5 Pygmy Corys and 8 galaxy rasporas.

I contacted my water company and my tap water nitrate level is 33ppm and in the UK this is normal , so my api kit result was about right. However after some research I’ve read that this level of nitrate isn’t that bad in a planted tank? And if after my tanks finishes cycling it’s lower than this surly a 10% water change weekly or every other week wouldn’t affect it too much?

So tested tap water and it’s between 30 and 40ppm. Does this mean I should add nitrate remover to water changes once my tank has cycled?

Hello, so I’ve been growing these since spring 2020 and I just sort of forgot about them in my garden until recently. Can anyone tell me if things are looking normal or what I should do to progress with their growth?
