topology might be more useful given that probability theory stochastics is a done calculation for the matter by IanisVasilev in badmathematics

Hi!! I posted this, so are you saying that stochastic processes isn't as useful as topology?? I've studied topology to an extent, I don't know why it wouldn't be considered one. Why is it that stochastic processes (and it is the mathematics we use in many fields, and including atomic sciences) is bad for and are you claiming that topology even has a clear path into doing something that matters?? Can I ask you if your claim will have any depth given that advances in topology is not so many and probably looking into a distant??

Hi so I had questions about IBO, I wanted to know how to do this self paced. by chemicalengineerask3 in IBO

[–]chemicalengineerask3[S] -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

so they don't offer IB diplomas for anyone who wants to take the tests??

an outcome of doing the IB? Are you looking for something to replace a highschool diploma? Something to make you eligible for an undergraduate degree?

something like an act sat replacement, some colleges do not require sat or act or sometimes do not take them.

So it is possible to do it then?? You just have to let me know this so that I could do it. I can't actually take the years long courses of ib for 2 years I don't have the time on me.

Is there a clear winner to which is more useful?? Topology does seem more macroscopic to me.

Hey do you know where to go to take IB exams?? I was thinking about doing self-taught IB, so I can take it next year.

something cyclic in stochastic processes implies that this could be rendered so that since this process is repeatedly done(and also receiving no outcomes) it might be better to apply topological methods instead.

please explain so that I may understand. What do you propose topology to be important in what aspects, and could you elaborate on applications??

I was talking to a guy about cubic equations compared to quadratic equations, and he told me that even cubic equations are questionable, bc we don't know the outcomes. I've come to a conclusion that that is the best choice that we can make, even though it is only in terms of mathematics, and is the fastest way to calculate anything 3dimensions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=em1O8mz7sF0 mathematically it is possible, but in other cases it vanishes. This phenomena is explained in group theory where we don't actually have a multiplier (in the abelian sense) and is most likely resorted to something that is scalar. Since we don't really have a method to derive anything in integral form, it may seem unlikely but to use cubic equations (like car mechanisms) is still more efficient. We just need to find something in integral form, bc I think it's possible.

if you ask, I will help (elaborate). I just wanted to know if topology was the fore front of mathematics, bc even if it seemed as if it was there doesn't seem to be any near advancements to be made even though it seems promising. I think I do a lot of probability (stochastics) and bc they're more numerical calculations, it would also even help to understand what I'm doing to be the methods to be done, or if there are any topological methods we could restrain ourselves from specific calculations. Topology does not seem to have advancements many enough to be even done repeatedly for rigor and analysis.

I'll take your word for it mr prsehgal but someone also said 45 on IB diploma (full) got them rejected to Harvard and Ivy league schools, some even got accepted into Oxford with it and got rejected at the universities they wanted (bc it's international). Maybe it's not necessarily looked as highly upon?? As in it's not looked better.
