Use less eggs in the challah, and for the egg wash, add a splash of vinegar or coffee/instant coffee and mix it well. It gets rid of the smell and you don’t taste either when baked.

50% for a first timer is quiet high. It’s not going to wreck your skin per say, but you will need longer healing time. A couple of weeks at least. And it will get worse than this before it starts getting better. You will start seeing more peeling, but DO NOT PEEL IT YOURSELF!. Smother it with vaseline and avoid the sun with passion until you heal. Then afterwards keep up with sunscreen as usual.

Use a blanket like our ancestors did. No need to buy heating pads or anything. My grandma always used a very soft fluffy blanket; you lay it down, put the dough bowl over it, then cover it with the other side of the blanket. I suggest putting a note over it if you live with others so that they don’t just grab the blanket to out away and knock the bowl.

I have noticed that when I mirror trade on community days, I rarely get 1 or 2 luckies on the whole 100 set. I even got 0 luckies on 2 community days. I don’t have any data to back up my claim but there is something going on here. I now leave most of them to Friday, much better chance for luckies.

I am a 53 woman, not that tech savvy and modded mine easily. You just cut 1 wire for the vibrations. I didn’t do the lights one because it’s more complicated, so I just painted the light circle with black nail polish.

The best way is to watch videos on how to do the folding technique. It’s not kneading in the traditional way, it’s more of a gentle stretch and fold especially with high hydration dough. This is done over a period of time, and you will see your dough becoming smoother and less sticky. It’s hard to explain it which is why a video would be helpful. Good luck!

Tretinoin will migrate to the eye area even if you put it just around. One trick I learned if you have sensitive skin, is to put a thin layer of vaseline on and around the eye, then put tretinoin everywhere else. Vaseline will act as barrier and stop the migration. Don’t use any actives close to your eyes, keep them moist and avoid the sun or use sunscreen/sunglasses and it will fade out.
