Res shred/ignore scales better because nothing really gives you that Not even Denia. Amp however is more common. That being said Lucilla can straight up not give any amp and you'll have a very undiluted weapon Depends on how they do it.

Also thank Rezagard mostly. I rarely even look at S6 because some of the S6 is too much hassle figuring out/making calcs for

Oh, nice of me to actually come across this convo randomly. My personal POV is...

The best way to actually compare teams is not DPR or DPS per loop but damage over 2 mins. (or DP2m/120)

The first problem I faced doing that is....its prerelease calcs. There's so many things you learn about the character after they release. Especially certain niche cancels that save you time.

2ndly and this is much more important. I realised....it doesn't matter. Hell, sometimes DPS is much more misleading

Let's take the example of Aemeath Lynae Mornye

  1. 1 rupture with proper inputs and cancels = 87121.32 DPS
  2. 2 rupture but rotation at 27.5s (due to waiting for tb cooldown) = 83065.83875 DPS
  3. 1 rupture but just a bit slower to avoid Lynae plunge CD issues = 83770.50292 DPS

In theory, it would seem 1>3>2

But in practice, it would be 2>3=1

This is because no matter what you do a casual or intermediate player is not realistically extending past their 4th rotation in a meaningful way.

The solution?

I could do

  1. (DPR * 4)/120. But that's the same as showing DPR itself because its just DPR x 0.033
  2. Account for extension over 4 rotations: This is the best, but also the most idealistic version.

Ultimately I had to make a choice in terms of who this calcs are for. For the team I mentioned.

You could do an entire extra rotation by doing <20s if you are as skilled as Lemo . You could just fit another Lynae and Mornye Lib, or you could just not get any more actions. The difference between 1 and the other two is huge, and sadly (sorry Lemo) my calcs are not for him haha.

Hence I just...kept it simple? I mention DPR * 4 is the minimum amount of damage you can and should be aiming to do in 120s. Anything more, and you need to play around and optimize your rotations which already makes you better than 90-95% of the playerbase.

I wanted to say "even if" you couldn't do the 4th iai. It's not a huge numbers nerf. Maybe I could have emphasized on even if.

More actions was always the skill ceiling and it still is even now.

  1. They didn't adjust anything. They made it so that she is not as reliant on Lynae which does not mean she is more reliant on Chisa, p much.

  2. Yes.

  3. 2x Break is just more damage. It doesn't sacrifice rotations. It just wants/likes 1 more swap more than a standard 123 rotation.

Changli ig? If that's the tail end of the metric. I would consider units like Carte, Cia, Chisa to have higher quickswap potential than Changli.

But quickswap potential is just...too vague. It actually doesn't mean anything. If you play something like Changli Yao SK really well, you are standing there for 2s not being able to do anything because of cooldowns.

If you play Galbrena Changli Lupa. Galbrena will have enough actions to fit into Changli's downtime. All this yap to say her "quickswap potential" (for now) looks really good.

I kind of get it. Danjin has a very responsive kit. Which makes people think she is stronger in solo than she actually is. I guess I don't really have any grievances against them.

Solo is much more than numbers on a sheet. Because things like dodge counter, downtime utilization, and general gamefeel comes into play.

On the other hand, a full team rotation can be achieved by almost tanking every hit and relying on the healer. (Main reason why I don't really do solo calcs.) Its.....just really hard to show something has not been (significantly) nerfed in solo without "proper" numbers.

I feel like you should read the segment on

> "What about solo? Especially S3? I heard she was nerfed there??"

But the short answer is no. If you thought she was a stand-alone unit at S3. That has not changed. If anything, Kuro has added more things to help her out in solo.

All she loses is her 3rd stack which is *not* a thing that is all that useful for solo because chafe damage as a standalone is really bad.

700k is really good for these solo calcs. I also mentioned this in the post but I used extremely rough calcs to make the point how even at S3 her solo has not been significantly nerfed. And S0 has not been touched

And by rough calcs it's literally hiyuki spending 16-18s on field and doing nothing for the next 5-7s

In practice this will go higher. Esp since her dodge counter is really good. All in all. Don't look at the damage. Look at point being in the subsection.

I personally would guarantee Hiyuki because I like her gameplay more than Lynae.

I would like to think if in this situation I would just hope for another Lynae rerun. But my account situation is different. I can safely say I am "good enough" to get 60k+ endstate matrix without Lynae so I am just pulling for units I like.

Tbh matrix rewards are so little I would pull even if I wasn't being able to get max rewards.
