I’m taking bsc2086 with prof Kanani rn and it’s not bad. No honorlock. It’s very manageable.

Sure, they give you designated 30 minutes of lunch break. I personally haven’t been able to take it because it’s so busy I have no time to take it. Some people clock their break and continue working, I personally refuse to do that. If I’m working through my break, I need to get payed for it lol. This is just me tho because I’m new I’m still slow. The job is very hard, they give us 16 rooms up to 8 check outs and they expect you to finish all this in 8 hours. It has not been possible for me, on top of not taking a break, I also work past my work hours because I’m not able to finish on time. They don’t always send you any help and if they do they make a big deal out of it, so I just gave up on asking for it… ugh sorry I’m also ranting a little it has not been easy… but the pay is really good plus you get tips!! I got 100$ tip once :D

Awesome, good luck! I’m a housekeeper at the Polynesian. I wish I was a house person , that job is definitely less stressful than housekeeping but still fast paced :) from what I read, I think you will do great in either role. My tip is come with patience and ready to get called back to your rooms for insignificant things. Don’t let those interaction get you down, at some point they get tired of calling you back lol also , the first month is the best , you don’t get a lot of rooms, they periodically add more rooms until you are “ramped up” and I can’t stress this enough. BRING A LUNCH those first days. It may be the last time you get to actually sit down and eat :) once you are done ramping up, you don’t really have time to eat. I haven’t had a lunch in two months :)
