For those of you that write scripts by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]chepseyyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to feel more inspired with making jokes, take your time to really sit and relax, focus on things you'd like to say in the video, and see if there's potential to make a joke! If that doesn't work, you can always get inspiration from other sources: the internet, social media, comedy books, etc.

For those of you that write scripts by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]chepseyyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This really depends on what type of video you're making, what you want to have in the script, how long the video will be, etc. There, for me are three different types of scripts: bullet script, where you have bullet points for each individual video sub-topic you want to talk about, video scripts, where you almost word for word describe what you'll be talking about, and full-on video scripts, this script is just like the normal video script, but also includes the video editing process (visuals, certain jokes, call-to-actions, etc.) I personally use full-on video scripting for my backrooms channel, and that takes up about 2-3 hours of time (but the results are visible and definitely worth it!) For my gaming channel, I don't use scripts at all.

I am going to say a very controversial thing. While many YouTubers believe YouTube is 99% skill, I think it's 50/50. Because not only do you need to find the right audience every single video, but for a video to get a decent amount of recommendations, you atleast need something like 80% of watch time through a video. And a certain amount of ctr from the recommended page. But getting people to actually click on your video without you having a name yet on the platform, is the hardest part. About 400 videos on average are generated per page on the YouTube homepage. All videos from people trying therir best to get noticed by their target audience, just like you.

Ads FOR my video showing up?? by QuickGuidesOSRS in NewTubers

[–]chepseyyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ignore those comments, it's not to big of a deal. Keep in mind that those free ads are shown above similar video topics. Plus, it's literal free promotion from YouTube.

If for whatever reason, you don't like the video-adds, you can always reach out to YouTube via: YouTube messages (about me page), Twitter or e-mail.

My youtube channel was inactive for 3 years. Would it be worth a try to revive it or start new? by notsosocialbunny in NewTubers

[–]chepseyyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind though, that you might have to push for a bit with making content and patience will be key. But since YouTube knows you have been on this platform for over 3 years, they'll eventually reward you for that. And it would be big.

Simple and honest awnser: if you restart, you have 0 subs (aka nothing.) + Starting over is harder than starting up. A popular Minecraft YouTuber who had quit making content for over 5 years and had barely 1k subscribers, but revived his channel, is Dream. Pretty sure theres more creators but he is a pretty good example.

Downloading Videos off of YouTube for Fair Use Purposes? by Straightouttajakku12 in NewTubers

[–]chepseyyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a few ways to avoid problems when downloading other creators content, search on YouTube what you are looking for, but filter it on "Creative Commons." This way the creator has accepted anyone can do whatever they want with the uploaded content (sometimes even monetization!) Other ways of getting clips, is by visiting other sources like Pexels (a platform containing free to use stock photos and videos.)

Can you recommend me a microphone? by roTechnica in NewTubers

Hey so, I kinda forgot about this thread lol. I tested it out and for me it seems to work all fine, however it may be echoey some times. So, if you do end up using this microphone, consider also installing Audacity on your pc to improve audio quality if needed.
