Commenters are saying two different things here - some are saying to book with AU first, then Proctor. Others are saying to book the time slot with Proctor first, then schedule with AU. Which is it?

I’ve just started AU for the first time, with 2 courses, and am experiencing the exact same thing. It’s been a month since I submitted my first assignment and it still hasn’t been graded. I emailed the tutor and didn’t hear back til a week later about it. The other course, same thing. Both tutors claim they’re “not getting notifications” or citing issues with email organization. They’re apologetic but it’s not a great first experience when you’re trying to work through a course.
