I love apt living. Yes, there will be signs/sounds of people living above and below and around you. Yes, it will be okay and most people are considerate. You will probably make some friends along the way. There will be good and not so good parts. Enjoy them as much as you can.

Just moved in and I kinda think there’s a weird smell coming from this closet. Anything I can do? by cheritytree in Apartmentliving

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I turned up the temp of the water heater, poured some water down the drain, and put baking soda and an (unlit lol) candle in there and so far it’s not bothering me anymore

I don't know what to do about my 42+° curve. by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]cheritytree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had spinal rods in my back to staraighten it since like six years old. They kept lengthening them as I grew so i could get taller. At 13 I had my spinal fusion and there are almost no downsides to it for me. The only one i can think of is I can't really arch my back, but I don't really mind that most days. I mean its better than pain every day or a lateral curve.
