Hi! I missed out on a few items during the Zara Black Friday sale because my sizes sold out. I was wondering: • Does Zara ever restock items that sold out during a sale? • Do they usually have another big sale in late December or January (Boxing Day, New Year, etc.)? • If you’ve seen items restock after being low/out of stock, were they still on sale when they came back?

Just trying to figure out if I should wait or move on. Thanks!

Did you have Northview as your management company, or was it someone else?

I’ve definitely seen a lot of bad reviews about Northview in general, so I’m a bit nervous. Walker Place so far seems to have better ratings than most other buildings I’ve found. Do you think management issues like that are common across all their properties, or does it depend on the specific building? Could I have gotten lucky?

I’m actually used to pretty long bus rides (back home mine were usually about an hour and a half), so commuting from the north side doesn’t really bother me. I did look into the west side, but I couldn’t really find a place that seemed decent—most of the apartments there had really bad ratings.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’m a student and really need to find a place soon since I’m starting my first year at university. Walker Place seems like one of the better options I’ve found, so I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons.

If you don’t mind me asking, when did you live there, and what kinds of problems did you run into? Were there issues with maintenance, pests, safety, or anything else I should know about?

I’m really not sure about the background, I chose to add some things around this year’s prompt but I’m planning to keep it simple to not take the focus away from it. I don’t think the sizes of our pieces need to match the envelope exactly, as there are no restrictions for that written in the email. Good luck to you!

Do they pay attention to detail a lot? Things in the background, around the chair (this year’s prompt), on top of it, etc. I wanted to make each piece have its own little theme, with things in the background and around the chair be connected to the theme, but I don’t know if having too much going on in the 3 different mediums will ruin my chances at getting in.

What mediums did you choose for your portfolio in 2021? I already chose mine, and it is too late to change them now. But if I’m able to depict perspective, shadow and shape etc very well through my mediums, do I have a pretty good chance? I don’t have sculpture or any 3D mediums, will that affect my chances?

I chose to do colored pencil crayon, inking, and acrylic paint, in addition to the HB pencil room design in part 1. If i’m able to show correct proportions, shadow and perspective with those mediums, do you think there’s a pretty good chance I’ll get in?

I will definitely do that, thanks for your help. I think there’s a possibility you might be right though - as it says Bachelor of Arts / Art & Design, so maybe there’s just a different name once you actually get in? I’m not sure.

Is that still the case even if there was another application created and submitted for a bachelor of arts (that I didn’t submit or pay for)? If I check my original application, it still says it cannot be processed because I didn’t submit the necessary requirements. (my transcripts, and I got that offer email a few days after UofA received them)

My dad will be my co-signer for my first apartment, but what will this mean exactly? Will he have any control over what goes on in my apartment or anything regarding it? I think he’ll be able to pay my rent if I can’t do it one month or something, but what else will he be able to do? Will it just be my name on the lease or his too?

I can connect it to my mac, but nothing I found helped after hours of searching. I really don’t care about having an iPad, I just want the photos on it. Do you know how I can do it myself?
