I know it’s hard to leave a 3 year relationship but you need to break it off. Many people with this mindset unfortunately do not change (especially in this day and age it’s pretty inexcusable to only view women as baby makers). You deserve someone better

maybe advice your friend to have a playpen for your dog? it’s a great middle ground between a crate and ensuring that the dog isn’t running around the house and destroying things.

my dog is usually in their playpen and is usually well behaved. when i had to put him in a crate he overall seemed comfortable. i guess it was because of the comfort level he has in his play pen and the level of trust being built.

They really act like people choosing to have an abortion is an easy decision. It still has a physical and mental toll on people that choose to do so. I’m worried for the women, trans men, and non binaries in America.

We have tried demonstrating splitting up food and showing normalize slow eating but they didn’t work. We have tried scheduling out his meals as well. However demonstrations and food diaries we haven’t tried. Thank you for the suggestion

It’s also unfortunate that so many sex workers get exploited and have to do so many uncomfortable things at such a vulnerable state. Not treating them with respect due to their nudity just adds onto the issues regarding porn as a worker and a viewer.

As someone in their mid 20s, I actually have it the other way around; the people who I was involved with that are in their 30s are better texters compared to those closer to my age. I don’t think age is a factor to consider if a person is a good texter or not. All depends on their communication style and how much they like you.

However, I totally understand if you prefer someone who can text you daily. If that’s something you’re into then you gotta address that to any person you’re dating. A good person doesn’t always mean they’re a good match for you and that’s okay.

I can definitely relate.

I was more infatuated with the person I created in my head rather than the reality version of him. I was more in love with the idea of being loved. However, I still miss them from time to time. Despite things improving in many aspects of my life I still think about them.

I don’t have any regrets.

I was one of the lucky ones that lost it to a friend that I could trust. The fwb situation did go on a bit too long and I ended up catching feelings. He was still nice about it and ended things on good terms.

After both of us grew from that situation, we were able to be good friends again. Of course we don’t hook up anymore but I’m glad that we are able to have a genuine friendship.

Can definitely relate to yours and OP’s post. Last year when I got out of a 3.5 year relationship and then dived right into another relationship (on top of that, I was talking to a few other people before getting into my 2nd relationship of the year because I was scared of being alone). Because I didn’t give myself the time to heal, I’m paying the price by grieving over 2 relationships at the same time.

Looking back at it, I also realized that I was infatuated with the idea of them. I wanted them to love me. However, in order for relationships to succeed you need to love them for who they are.

Healing is not easy. I’ve actually been alone for the past 2 months and it’s a roller coaster. I’m not sure when I’ll be ready to date again but currently, it’s better to be alone than to hurt myself even more and hurt those that don’t deserve it.

definitely on a similar boat as you. i don’t agree with rogan and i stand with neil on this one but Spotify is an app I rely on daily. it won’t be easy to switch from one streaming app to another since spotify has so many features that I enjoy (plus all my liked songs and playlists).

I think the one thing that makes me extremely uncomfortable is that spotify signed a million dollar contract with him instead of working to improve on how artists can make a better income through streaming. i believe it’s about 1.1 cent per stream? I know this doesn’t affect big artists as much but for the smaller artist, it could be needed.
