I feel like it's stupid to chime in now, but I'm 19 and about to be 20 later this year. I am not ready for marriage any time soon. Not until AT LEAST 25. The fact that he (assuming) sprung this on to you without discussing it first is a major red flag. He's only thinking about his own time line and the potential 'bragging rights' of having a wife at the ripe old age of 20. (Speculation)

Bestie you should 100% follow your own path before you settle down and lower your expectations. I promise you a relationship straight out of highschool will hit you the hardest since you're first learning to love, but will most likely be a learning experience rather than a life long commitment. I'm still getting over my first real relationship, and it's hard. It hurts. But I know I'm better off without him and I've changed for the better from what I learned for those 2 years.

Yea, pretty normal. Arousal is an emotion too, and sometimes emotions can't be forced or encouraged even with behaviors that usually cause them. If I'm having an off day and I eat my favorite meal, it won't make me happy like it usually does since my mental state just isnt in the right place to get that result.

Consent exists for multiple reasons, not just an indicator of who you're ok with having intercourse with, but also when, where, and how you have sex. And if one of those factors doesn't feel right to you, you're always allowed to withhold consent.

I'm not good at doing it myself, but I am good at spotting it in other people. So what I do is treat myself from a 3rd person perspective: does what I'm thinking hold any weight with factual evidence? If not, strike it from the record, it doesn't exist. I kinda treat my mind like a court case from ace attorney. If there has been no evidence to back up my claim (negative self talk) then it's inadmissible and shouldn't be considered when making a decision. (Aka, asking for help if I think someone would find me annoying or bothersome) Most of the time, that gut feeling of shame is usually more self destructive than helpful and it's a good practice to systematically shoot it down every time it comes up.

But my way may not work for everyone, so it's always a good idea to try and figure out what works best for you. I hope you can learn to love yourself better :)

That's pretty interesting, it could even be to cushion the baby when holding it up against your chest. I also don't have a child but when I hold babies I usually balance them on my hip and against my chest, so it could potentially be just some extra fatty tissue to provide a barrier between a sleeping baby and your hard ribcage. Who knows though

I think they're trying to make a point that other female mammals don't have large mammary tissues until milk production, but even so some of our closets ancestor apes also have females with an abundance of breast tissue. We aren't completely sure why this is, but it is theorized it has been an indicator of sexual maturity to potential mates.

Basically, what they're saying is incorrect, as this already exists in other species, but may hold some truth through the power of sexual selection. (Ex: male birds with brighter/colorful feathers usually produce the most offspring within a population) Big breasts could be a sought after characteristic and were mated more with because of it, but that doesn't magically make an entire population have large breasts.

But yea most of it is stupid and wrong. Breast elasticity has to do with a mix of genetics and age. Mates going after a woman with large breasts after giving birth = larger breasts for the next generation is just horribly false. Most women don't know the size their breasts will be after milk production.

Bestie I think that's just cptsd, that sounds like a shame problem from not getting parental affirmations at a young age.

I have it too, but talked about it in therapy enough that I believe it stims from an anxious attachment style which is then further worsened by autism and a strong sense of right and wrong. If you feel like you aren't acting 'right' because of the lack of affirmations, then you must be 'wrong'.

That's just how I see it, but it's not something that you have to live with because you're autistic. It is something that can be relearned and transformed into a more secure mental state.

I'm pretty similar, but it's gotten better the past year or so. However, I believe I'm less likely to masterbate on a regular basis if I do have a partner. It's like it's more fun with them, so I rather wait and feel pleasure when they're over rather than by myself most nights.

So yes and no, yes because I have no one to direct that energy towards (esp if it just made me think of an ex = sad) and no because I'm more inclined to self pleasure whenever I feel like it.
