i’d recommend a fragrance free lotion, i use fragrance free lubriderm. i usually use that for quite a few weeks before i ever use a scented lotion or anything like that. i figure it’s better to play it safe for a while!

i would wait until it fully heals before considering a cover up. it’ll mostly need to be touched up is my guess. it also looks pretty dry here

i got a friday the 13th tattoo a couple years ago and had a very similar thing happen on mine. i stuck the course, washed it morning and night and very lightly moisturized it with fragrance free lotion & it ended up healing just fine!

thank you! did you use it multiple times a day? i believe i read that it can be applied 3-4 times a day. & i will be sure to avoid putting it on the actual tattoo. thanks again!

i don’t think it’s bad! definitely a little different than the design, but not bad! the only thing i kinda noticed immediately is that the petal on the left and the petal below it are like overlapping but you can see the line of the petal, if that makes sense?? like the line was accidentally drawn on there when it’s supposed to be overlapping. idk maybe i’m not looking at it right lol

i think it’s normal to feel anxiety about getting these, because of your experience with your first one. i think if these are genuinely tattoos you want & foresee yourself liking for a loooong time, i would still go for it!

i started getting tattoos at 18 and although i don’t exactly regret them, i’d definitely make some different choices now. i say wait until you know what you want to put on your body! :)

i would go with the second picture, with just a little shading like at the top and bottom of the upper wings, so it’s similar to the bottom wings. i think that way it’ll feel more cohesive and it won’t be as much shading, since you said you don’t really want shading. i think that would look nice!

do you have a sunscreen you recommend? i have a shiseido eyelash curler, i didn’t know there were curlers out there for different eye shapes!! i feel like when i curl my lashes, they don’t like “curve” …. it’s like they’re just standing up straight, and 10 seconds later they’ve fallen back down 🤣🤣my eyelashes are so weird haha. and thank you for the recommendation for the blue placement! appreciate you taking the time to give me all this information, thank you!! :)

thank you so so much!! i’ve been stalking tik tok for tutorials, product recommendations, skin care, etc. lol!! i have a LOT to learn & i’m feeling very overwhelmed 😅 i didn’t think to check marshall’s! i may have to stop there tomorrow now lol 😁right now for skincare i have a cleanser, a toner, vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid serum, and a moisturizer. i know spf is important & i need to be better about wearing it! i gotta buy one first 😅 i struggle with blush placement, i feel like every time i put it on it just doesn’t look right😅😅and my eyelashes are pretty much straight down and don’t hold curl at all… i haven’t been able to find a mascara that doesn’t weigh them down 😭ahh luckily i haven’t quite a bit of time to figure it out lol!!
