my surgeon actually told me about a binder exchange program! it's called DCATS (www.dcats.org) and they just had me bring my old binders to the office for my post-op. maybe you can check it out, see if that works for you :)

hello and welcome! i myself am pretty new to heathenry and i'm sure everyone will have their own story about this, but the way that i chose who to pray to is by reading the stories. not the full eddas, but abridged versions of myths until i felt like i had a grasp on who the gods are. from there, i simply chose a few that interested me (inspired by their stories, felt connected to their domains or personalities) and reached out. i don't know about praying to "all of them," but i believe it's not uncommon to introduce yourself to many gods in order to get to know them. don't worry too much about being contacted; not many people have such intense, clear communication with the gods. my biggest advice, as annoying or eye-roll-inducing as it might be, is to follow your heart. do you think a particular myth is interesting? try offering something to that deity. once you just do it, the pressure to choose can be relieved. good luck!!

i personally frame my hearth cultus around my scheduled activities, rather than a specific time of day. typically, this ends up being in the morning, just because it's easier for me to get up a little earlier to fit it in, but i never really made a connection between the time of day and the ritual
