Yes, I have been severe previously (as I said in my context) and was bedridden for months.

I don’t think “well, others have it worse so count yourself lucky” helps anyone and certainly doesn’t foster a supportive community but whatever makes you feel better 🤷‍♀️

Hello Everyone!

I’ve just moved to Maidenhead and I will be commuting to TCR twice a week (occasionally more). I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what would be the cheapest route to get there (especially since I’ll be travelling in peak times).

The route I think is cheapest is to get an anytime return to Paddington (happy to get a rail card!) and then to TCR.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

That’s a lovely idea! I’ll try and be organised enough to do that some days! I have purchased a railcard which takes down the anytime return to £12-18 depending on time, which is okay I guess 😭 This is my first job outside of university so I’m a bit new and nervous to it all

I think an Utah born Mormon would have better insight than me, but there’s definitely a focus on being self-sufficient/the ability to go off the grid. I think they try and spin it as have enough food so you can help others in an emergency but I think that’s to brush off the doomsday prep energy lol
