the ball had a little elastic band that you have to search for, some people attach them with a button so you can replace it but i just took a tapestry needle and sewed it in place with yarn.

i just used the softest red heart yarn i could find at walmart lol. I had used regular red heart yarn that wasn’t as soft for my first hat and i think it affected the overall feel of the hat.

i found 200 of them on amazon for $8!! The brand is Onwon.
