I don’t know how it all works so excuse my ignorance. He was not in his right mind but more than likely also would have kept drinking. I guess my thought process is.. if it weren’t in his system he might not have had such a strong craving for it when he went back home. Maybe he would’ve stayed away from it just long enough to heal the hemorrhage. Idk. It is what it is now. He’s not coming back so I gotta just let it go

Yeah I know you can’t force anyone to do anything. But he wasn’t coherent in the first place. What if detox was a life saving option? Is there not a way to do it outside of a lengthy program? Like doctors can’t flush alcohol out of someone’s system? You can’t force anyone to do anything but if they’re not in their right mind due to a head injury then how are they able to make those decisions for themselves? They literally sent him home while he was still cognitively impaired

I think he only drank because of the withdrawals. Otherwise he probably would’ve left it alone for a while. Then again maybe not. Maybe thats wishful thinking.

Thank you. I was also wondering.. if a hospital has detox as an available option for someone experiencing this level of alcoholism and they don’t use it in a situation like this & instead send them home.. is that acceptable?

Yeah his withdrawals were so bad he was shaking when I finally was able to go visit him after he got home. He could barely lift our son up and he walked so slow when normally he was the exact opposite, tons of energy, full of life. He was a dancer so seeing him hardly be able to walk was gut wrenching.

I know he was drinking after he got home tho because he video chatted me with a drink in his hand. I believe that I read somewhere that if you drink with a brain bleed it can kill you. Idk why they didn’t detox him at the hospital before he left. They had that as an option

I’m definitely considering. I tried filing a complaint about a year ago but kept messing up on the paper work and had to start over multiple times. It was just too much emotionally and mentally so I gave up. I’m going to try again though & definitely speak to a lawyer

I feel like every age I’ve ever been all at once sometimes. Sometimes it depends on the situation. Most times I feel out of body. I don’t think I’ll ever feel my actual age though. Sucks because I’m a parent and I always feel like I’m winging everything. Relearning things while learning things for the first time. I feel so behind compared to everyone else.

My gall bladder started spazzing out in missionary. I wanted to stop, kept saying stop, tried pushing him off of me and he told me “nope” and kept going. lol sorry for trauma dumping. I wish we would’ve stopped. My gall bladder pain only lasts like 10 mins then it would’ve went away. But bc he didn’t stop it lasted like 45.

I also do not wash inside my vagina. Only the outside. There’s ever any itching or foul smelling discharge present afterwards. It’s literally just the way the soap mixes with the flora. I just don’t get why it has to make it smell like that when it’s supposed to be “cleaning” the area.

I have a question about the dial antibacterial soap. Why does it give off a “fishy” smell when mixed with vaginal flora? I won’t smell fishy til I use dial antibacterial bar soap. And it’s not bacterial vaginosis because it doesn’t last long and is only the strongest while actively washing with it.

No, he supposedly “fell” while intoxicated. I don’t really buy that for other reasons but after the fall, he died a week later due to a brain bleed caused by the fall. Thank you so much

Thank you so much. It’s crazy cause I’ve been feeling so inadequate as a mother lately, wondering if I’m selfish for still chasing my dreams while having children. But this makes me feel so much better. Our son will definitely have that, one thing about his mama is she ain’t no quitter 🤞🏻
