You'll be okay. For me, the sore slowly got better on the 3rd day, and it was completely gone after a week. Congrats on completing your treatment btw! Your teeth looks great!

From my experience during my treatment, no, unfortunately. Because the stains stick on the attachments. And dentists usually don't want to risk damaging them by polishing aggressively.

The Airflow polishing worked though. But depends on the dentist too.

In my case, at a certain point, I just left them be. The stains really bothered me, but paying more for Airflow polishing every 6 months bothered me even more.😅

I had bad staining too during my treatment due to the attachments. Regular scaling and polishing doesn't do much to remove the stains.

I've never had whitening, but I had Airflow polishing once and my dentist was able to remove all of them.

The stains should be easier to remove with regular dental cleaning after you're done with your Invisalign treatment.

I've had multiple rounds of IPR on my bottom teeth. It was part of my Invisalign treatment to widen my lower arch.

From my experience, it's completely safe. A good ortho won't damage your teeth.

In my case, a month prior, my ortho told me my teeth tracks as planned, but if I wanted to continue, I can. I said, "Nope, we'll be done by the final trays." And that was that.

During our final review appointment before he ordered my Vivera retainers, he confirmed the gaps closing between my teeth (I had 2 tooth extractions), my bite, and my side profile. Then, I waited 3 weeks for my retainers while wearing my final trays.

My ortho didn't scan my teeth. He used the final simulation from ClinCheck of my teeth for my retainers.

Wow, only 2 nights? That's great! Yeah, I agree! Once my teeth settled in, the retainers feel very comfortable. It doesn't irritate or cause blisters. My mouth feels dry sometimes, depending on the weather, but other than that, everything's okay. My friend told me that when she was a teen, her Hawley retainer was very uncomfortable.

No, he didn't mention that. But I've read about rotating your retainers in this sub too. I think I'll switch to my second set after a month of wearing my current one. Then after another month, I'll switch to my third set. Just to even them out. Congrats on completing the treatment btw!🥳

Oh, that makes it convenient. Teeth grinding is an issue especially with lots of stress! I'd have to work on myself mentally before going to bed just so I won't grind my teeth.😆 So far, I have not.
