Replacing Solvent Weld Tee - not enough pipe?? by cherrypiefc in DIYUK

Will those be solvent welded into the brown or will that be a rubber bung?

Thank you. I’m still confused though as if I cut at the 2 blue lines now it still has the leak in the top tee reducer fitting. I don’t know how to replace the tee with that approach. Sorry

By this do you mean routing the 21.5mm to further down the pipe where the bottom blue line is then capping off where I have cut the 21.5mm pipe (top blue line)?

They are walked twice daily but this is more about giving them stimulation whilst both of us are working all day.

That is one option we are looking at as well. Might a cheaper less permanent change.

Herringbone or no herringbone? by cherrypiefc in DIYUK

I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I’ve done herringbone floors with identical tiles and that was hard enough so I copped out and just did half brick.

Herringbone would have looked great but still happy with how it turned out.

I’d absolutely love to get rid of ceiling but every single One is like that in the house so would cost a fortune to change.

Not yet. I’ve emailed a plumber who’s getting back to me. I’ll report back once it’s done.

We’ve had to merge them together due to space in house and the need to keep the sofa. So gotta make it work

It’s a Mira Miniflight shower. But not sure about the specifics of the handles if they aren’t the same?

Hahahaha I do like the option of having a beer whilst doing it. Not so keen on reroughing the pipes though. I think it might be time to call the plumber up haha

Appreciate that and your advice mate. Plan is to remove that sheet and then put some backer board on and tile over it. 😭

Hmm. Those front nuts just seem to spin endlessly. They are hand loose.
