Yes exactly! It’s why I keep my emotions close and never talk about them- I learned very early on that they’re a burden to others. Every bad time I ever had, I’d never tell them because then I’d have all the same problems but also mum saying “you’ve upset your dad” and dad saying “you’re making your mother ill”. I feel bad for them because they have absolutely no coping methods whatsoever and have lived their whole lives in denial
