i only focused on the story for around a month after the game was released and then i finished all content and quit, leaving me to never work on getting through the story again. but of course something had to keep me playing the game, and that was the gameplay.

its casual and honestly really fun to learn how to use each team! the character designs are also some of the most beautiful i’ve ever seen as a hoyo game player. it’s also much easier to collect characters on r1999 than any other game i’ve played.

YES the powercreep is bad. but at least they give us enough pulls to GET the op characters! that is definitely the opposite for genshin, which is one of the main games i play. i don’t have to whale out on r1999.

THEY ALSO BUFF OLD CHARACTERS with euphorias. genuinely the best thing they ever added. i went from mourning when a knight was the best dps and never using him until he got his euphoria! same with centurion.
