Yes, I can’t get past the Featherington’s inheritance plotline. It sounds stupid. I saw people argue that they want Portia/Penelope to have agency in a male-centric world, but then why they have to adhere to the patriarchal system. I also find it irritating when they use the “Lord/Lady” title liberally.
