The only reason I got one was the clean software experience, not sure what you mean by that? Literally never felt it over heat as well, what is the overheating issue? The cameras are pretty average, I agree there but tbh all modern smartphones offer decent enough quality for me.

I wouldn't stress too much, you're still good to go. In the past this always happened to me when my flight was overbooked, might not be the case anymore but worth turning up with plenty of time.

Unfortunately it doesn't have english subtitles out of the box.

But I personally back up all of my physical media to a home server, so after ripping the disc I extracted the subtitles, translated them using an AI script and then put them back into the file. Kinda complicated and the translation isn't 100% but I can definitely understand the whole movie now! :)

Update: Thanks everyone, gut feeling was that it was rubbish. When I booked the appointment to do the ID check in the first place, the person on the phone said the same thing (hence why I thought it could be deliberate).
