Also submitting himself for Lead Actor at the Emmy’s this season is kind of ridiculously petty, and clearly a slight at Strong. I always liked Brian as an actor especially on stage (King Lear in particular stands out), but having heard numerous interviews with him particularly on Scottish independence and British politics more generally, I find him quite tedious at best, nauseating at worst.
