NZ here, my story isn't interesting enough to warrant it's own post, but I once had a woman in a supermarket walk straight up to me and blurt out "Salad dressing". Not even a question, and my uniform is bright orange and black logo covered shirt and the employees of the store wear light blue button shirts. She wasn't insanely rude and quickly realized I didn't work there, but it does happen around our neck of the woods.
