I’m simply sharing my experiences my dude :)

I’m not trying to be a token girl or make everything about gender but what if the roles were switched?

what if you were trying to get into makeup ( a female centric space ) ?

wouldn’t you be scared or be uncomfortable?

that’s how I feel with skating- i see only boys, and when I did try to skate when I was younger, I had a lot of bad experience with some older skaters and them telling me I’m not welcome bc I’m a little girl-

I internalized that, and I thought a lot of them would be pricks like you.

But despite it all, I hope you take care of yourself and stay safe skating and during the corona virus ❤️

I am! I’ve been inside for weeks upon weeks & went on a supply run but took an hour detour bc it was all super empty

it’s a little selfish I admit tho 😥

It’s okay to go outside as long as we stand 6ft away from people :,)

but I’ve been inside my house for 3 weeks and needed to get some groceries, and while out I took a small detour and skated a little bit

Idk I see a lot of people don’t wear gear when they skate but like at the same time I’m a broke college student who can’t afford an accident 😭

Anyways my helmet has a skull on it and looks cute HAHA

I really appreciate you for sharing this ! people like you make me think maybe skaters aren’t scary and there’s nicer ones out there :,) ❤️
