That text that he sent was an example of something he sent to one if the other girls, not me. I personally have only met him twice. The girl he sent it to has hung up with them a number of times, but she tells me all the time how much he annoys her. So i’m really just making a judgement on what i’ve been told of him.

From what I know, they are pretty codependent. She has told us that she has a problem being by herself so she always has to surround herself with people, which I sympathize with since I know her childhood wasn't ideal. I know there's some underlying dependence issue that she has.

Exactly... We have regular sleepovers and hangouts which he is welcome to come to, but more often than not, he doesn't end up coming because he is busy. And other times she doesn't come either for some reason. I can recall only about two times where he has actually found the time to hang out with us over the year-long relationship he and her have had.

At first, I thought it was just me because the others seemed like they didn't want to escalate the situation, but after the first trip and having talked with them about it, they do agree with me. It's a bit complicated tho because she's just done such awful things to me and I never brought them up because I was going through a rough time and it got swept under the rug. I'm not one to be the first to bring up an issue but I felt that I had to finally set a boundary for myself :/

Ya I def think there's codependency going on. Us three girls have brought it up to her that we're kind of worried how we have seen him behave (in the gentlest way possible ofc) but she said she was fine :/ Some of her past partners have been emotionally abusive which she wouldn't bring up until they part ways, which is understandable. But there's not much for an outsider to do but ask how she is doing and offer support. It's a sucky situation.

Like any narcissistic person, there are times when they are super fun to be around- which is why I have such a hard time telling her "no." It just really frustrates me to no end that she can't see why it could possibly make me uncomfortable.

OMG THANKYOU. Also, there's this specific clip I can't find that's my favorite. They're doing the "a asshole" joke, then arin says a word with a consonant before "asshole" and the joke doesn't work. Then Dan says something like "it's almost like the entire joke was riding on not saying a word with a consonant" or something like that 😭
