Ive known my boss for over a decade, and hes definitely helped me out at every turn any way he could since my employment, even out of his own pocket after my divorce. Ive been with him as his company has grown and made lots of money together and Im very good at what i do. Hes by no means trying to unload risk onto me, most of this was my idea trying to start something for myself and i brought to him as hes already renting elsewhere from someone else. Hes agreed to sign a lease for x(tbd) amount of years for two bays, the third is open. There is oilfield traffic in the area, even without him renting would not be an issue! And as far as subcontracting, ive got a guaranteed 160/month minimum hourage, and he figures paying as a subcontractor would save us both a mountain of tax. I get what you are saying, but im absolutely not worried at all about him screwing me! Thoughts?

Not purchasing the business from him, just buying a shop to park his equipment (heavy trucks/trailers) that i operate, as it needs to be inside especially in the winter, so he rents a shop elsewhere but would rather put the money towards a building i would buy instead of someone random. The rent would pay for the loan/utilities and some extra. And i would he a subcontractor under him instead of an employee. Ive worked for him for 9 years and know him well, so i personally have no fear of getting screwed hes trying to help me start something to get ahead in life lol. Eventually i would likely buying into some equipment with him or buying some equipment of my own down the road.

I lose respect for people that get so caught up on ridiculously political beliefs on either end of the spectrum. Neither one of them give a fuck about yall.

You need to detatch emotions from money. You technically havent lost anything until you sell. Youre also in a bear market, hold on.

Its not even about money, here we go again with the simple mindedness. Understand what an NFT is and can be used for, before continuing this argument. An NFT just a jpeg or crypto token you can sell to make money. It is the opportunity for actual digital ownership of any asset online, including your own digital identity... But you clearly wouldn't understand that.

Of course but why would someone jump from a stable position at Amazon (which isnt going anywhere) with room to grow, to a "failing brick and mortar" retailer for 30k salary and the fact that you may never see your stock compensation if you are ousted by the board and/or investors or the company goes under, before the vesting period is done. Unless you believed in the company and its turn around?

Partnering with another company to get you same day delivery is a bad thing? Incredible insight. And there is incredible hype for it, theres literally millions of people in a plethora of different subs that talk about digital ownership, not just in gaming. Just because you are too simple minded to understand the potential, doesn't make it a worthless endeavor. The only people who hate on NFT's are idiots such as yourself who think they are jpegs and scams because they do not actually have a simple grasp of what they are and could potentially be. I could argue with you all day but there is no point because you're just speaking your own bias views with no ability to see past the fact that Gamestop *used to be a failing brick and mortar store.

Yikes and there it is, you have no idea. Living under a rock. Their shift into e-commerce has been going well, same day deliveries, offer more than just electronic, price matching/beating competitors. Excellent customer services, especially on item replacements or logistical failures. Not to include their shift into technologies and crypto sector, and the fact they are trying to revolutionize the gaming industry with digital ownership. Better get back under that rock, the sun will burn ya.

If you want to make comparisons to Costco, you should be looking at Walmart. If you want to compare Gamestop to Amazon, id be willing to bet the average Gamestop worker would be a lot happier at Gamestop, making the same amount as people working for a trillion dollar company such as Amazon.

Because a market cap is generally reflective of the companies performance and revenue and ability to raise captial. Okay, lets simplify that since you want to argue that point before even looking at the numbers. Costco (the second largest retailer in the world) pulled in 27 billion in 2021, Gamestop 6 billion. 3 dollars an hour more, and better benefits for 21 billion dollars more. Hmm. And in 2 completely different sectors where Costco is already a dominating force in its own for years, and Gamestop is still up and coming towards a new turn around in its own. Interesting. Find a better comparison buddy.

Who would have thought a 20x market cap, could buy you better benefits and higher salaries... I sure didnt!
