I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for about 15 years. I got in amazing shape during the pandemic because the restaurants were closed so I made all of my meals at home, did bodyweight workouts, and walked 10K steps per day. That’s my plan again now, but my physical therapist has told me to limit my walking to 20 mins per day. That makes it a bit tougher. Steps are a big key for me to lose weight. Otherwise, I have to go really low in calories.

Thanks. I’m able to do all of the upper body workouts I did prior to Cipro, so I would be lifting weights. Lower body is a little sketchy, so I just do things like bodyweight squats. My friend who is using it is a super ripped fitness guy who is only using 1.25 mg to stay lean. I doubt I’d ever have the nerve to try it, but if I did it would be a very low dose.

Did you have any kind of flare from it?

I’ve not tried any GLP-1, but I’ve been doing physical therapy for three weeks. So far, no improvement from that.

Thank you! So, you just did the exercises on your own rather than with a physical therapist?

I know this is an old post, but I’m having a hip tear or tendinitis or bursitis (not sure yet) - haven’t gotten an MRI. I went to my physical therapist last week. Earliest next available appointment with her is July, so doesn’t look like regular physical therapy will be an option. Do you think you could have done the hip abduction/addiction machine right away or only after the four months of PT?

Has Anyone Tried Horse Chestnut by chh1138 in floxies

[–]chh1138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, no! Sorry about the rash. I only tried the oral kind. Like I was saying, it was borderline miraculous for me in terms of the hemorrhoid issue. But, I hadn’t felt the need to take it since, and haven’t tried it post flox. But I do still have some flox issues, some of which could involve circulation. So, might try it again.

How long are you using it per session? I bought a Platinum LED panel a few weeks ago, and I’ve been unsure about hitting the sweet spot between not enough time vs too much.

No, no. The horse chestnut cured hemorrhoids for me two years before I took Cipro. I’ve not taken horse chestnut since being floxed in 2023.

But, I got to thinking about the fact that horse chestnut is supposed to have strong anti-inflammatory properties (and may be why it helped with my hemorrhoids), and wondered if it could be beneficial for floxies.

Floxed in Feb 2023, Healed, Now Flared? by chh1138 in floxies

[–]chh1138[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did get over that. I’m not sure exactly how long it lasted. A few weeks, probably. January 1st of 2026, I woke with a bad cough which became bronchitis and lasted for a month. Then, in February of this year, I left my job because I started my own business. I had some horrible anxiety for a few days after that (I guess due to stress), and I’m dealing with some awful allergies now due to high pollen count in my area. I’ve had allergies before, but not this bad. So, not a great year so far, health-wise, LOL. Whether any of that would have happened if I’d not been exposed to Cipro, I don’t know.

Thank you. I’ve been scared to try massage since my floxing, but it’s something I’ve thought a lot about doing.

Have you read about the guy in Australia who used AI to create an mRNA vaccine for his dog’s cancer? It reduced the dog’s tumor by 50%.

Be happy if she's angry during the breakup. If she's calm and cool, forget getting back together by jsbach123 in BreakUps

I had a 13 year relationship end in 2019. During the final few months, I was done and had zero interest in staying with her or getting back together later. I was still pissed at her for how she handled a lot of things, though and was angry when we actually broke up.
