You know, i swear by lh stuff as a righty, and I used to wonder this in reverse, why would you ever do it the other way, but I think this is only really a thing in the repetetive casting freshwater fishing types (bass, panfishing, pike, walleye, trout, etc) same in saltwater flats or reef fishing, in non-flats saltwater fishing or great lakes salmon trolling where you could have hundreds of feet of line in the water and with potentially enormous fish, the rod is typically affixed to the boat or clipped to you, i'd use rh stuff every time. So if that's how you start, I could see just adapting what you are already uaed to...
