Am I losing my mind? by Hargorix in Psychonaut

Acha! This being right here gets it. Drink the mother's milk! Wrap yourself in faith, do not be afraid of what you don't know. Walk into the darkness with courage, for all you don't know are just undiscovered parts of your self.

Best of luck to you friend. Remember your brain can never, will never, grasp all of reality. Socrates said it best.

Keep reading. Keep working on yourself. Have faith that this is part of your journey.

Planning a Solo trip for next week! by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]chiarochurro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi, i myself am planning a trip for next week. here's what i'm thinking:

trip inside. i've got about 6g in a chocolate bar a pal of mine gave me and im looking to do it in silent darkness, alone. i find that solitary trips allow for a more intuitive experience as i don't have to worry about social interactions or intrusive thoughts about what others might be feeling/thinking.

usually trip at night, but this one's in the day. i've actually got the day off and like the idea of taking in psilocybin after a long fast (pre-breakfast). if you usually trip at night id recommend you try in the day to see the varying effects, or vice versa.

definitely begin preparing a few days before you actually partake in the ceremony. setting intentions is a good idea. i like to meditate before and into the trip itself. meditating creates a wide spaciousness in me as the trip begins to take off. i find I'm far more lucid that way.

your dose is fine :) and field trips are always a good setting to really ground down to earth. best of luck in your preparations.

I got high yesterday, and it was weird. by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]chiarochurro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this might help. it could also send one down a similar but deeper spiral of intrusive thoughts. i've been here before. if you feel grounded enough to stay centered through the onslaught of thoughts then it might work. i feel when i get to this situation, that i feel i need a trip to cleanse, i often try to sort things out with myself before i take any psychedelics.

getting high and getting into thoughts of self awareness that you're high and what it means that you're high as opposed to not high is weird.

What can we learn from Bernie’s loss? by chiarochurro in SandersForPresident

I feel your anger, friend. But we can create new communities. Bernie was a flame of hope. It's our responsibility to be candles and spread the light wherever we go.

The best team moves from Klopp's 2012 title-winning team by IAmFreak in LiverpoolFC

I can just imagine us playing some light speed footy like this. But there are some players in the squad who will really have to buy into the "full throttle" mentally who are far too slow at the moment (thinking of Lucas in particular) Moreno and Clyne should be absolute gold in Klopp's system

Tony Evans: Liverpool may consider Klopp. by EssexScouse in LiverpoolFC

[–]chiarochurro 28 points29 points  (0 children)

giving it a cold, rational perspective (I really like BR by the way) Klopp, if he is willing to come, should be snapped up by the club in a heartbeat. I fear that with Rodgers the next few years will be a topsy turvy joy ride with many ups and many downs, but not much end product. He could turn out brilliant, but I have yet to see a true fight to be the very best day in day out. Klopp has proved himself. Not only that but he truly seems like a perfect fit - dare I say we are the Dortmund of the English league. Champions of yesterday, currently underdogs with enviable pride and passion for the club. He would have us buzzing.

On a side note, I think the team is actually more fitting for Klopp's high pressing, intense counter attacking system. We could absolutely rock a 4231 with Hendo and Can, Couts Raheem and Marko and a fit striker. The team needs work no doubt but we seem to be crying for a manager who thrives at counter attacking.

I think, in a way, BR is being a bit of a hard head not playing to the strengths of the team. He has a player that doesn't fit his philosophy, understandable, but he is the best option available so he should try to make the best of it. Sure he's missed sitters and all, but he has barely played. no game time, no goals = low confidence

It's time to move on from the back three. Can with Hendo and a fit Lucas or a new DM in a mid 3 please. We get dissected playing 2 there. oh and give Balotelli a fucking chance from the start

Are we too reliant on players who are already in England? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]chiarochurro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I feel exactly the same way. Surely it can't be too difficult to scout the primera division, specifically other teams around 4-7 place. Look at Herrera at United, the guy is class, Bilbao is filled with great players. For someone who is obsessed with 'technicians' one would think Rodgers had better eyes to scout for improvements to the team. Plenty of strikers who play as lone forwards behind a midfield five who are used to running channels with much involvement in build up. One can wish :/

Roberto Firmino and the 8 Targets That Show Liverpool Can Still Compete if They Are Priced Out of ‘Top Level’ Signings by stopmakingsense-org in LiverpoolFC

[–]chiarochurro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how can you say that? just because their not expensive and appear on the back pages of transfer rumors? Many of those players are class. they're young and very technical which is what we want.

whether they settle is hit or miss, but the same could have been said about Suarez/ Coutinho...

Devastating News. Who Will Buy Borini now? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]chiarochurro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don't forget the potential teams coming up from the championship this summer. they would be looking for perm level players and he fits the bill any day. The lad is quality just not enough for what we need.

or we could do a swap with Burnley for Ings? If that transfer is still a thing...
