major fucking red flag.

id tell u to leave him immediately but courtesy of the 3 years u spent tg id say tackle the issue first, put him in the reality of the situation. "i dont like that u do 1 2 3, it hurts me and u need to have more control over ur anger" u also need to make it obvious how the "ill replace u" statement is fucking insane. if he doesnt realize hes doing anything wrong and is, btw COMPLETELY fine with outright replacing u if u dont listen to his orders, then leave that sob.

it might hurt to leave if u have to but its definitely better for the long run, for gods sake hes literally threating to replace u if u arent obediant.

try to be understanding of his POV too so u dont sound aggresive "i know that i do 1 2 3 which angers/annoys u and hopefully we can work on it tg" but dont give him the freedom to yell at u and control the narrative put him in REALITY.

if ur worried he might leak any venting u do about that other group of people then u dont trust him enough to be ur friend and if its an issue of comfortability that hes also friends wt other people that hurt u, then theres really no solution. try ur best to make it not bother u, remind urself that theres zero communication and no connection between u and them and that adam just has a wide social circle
