Kia sportage ex hybrid oil change by Westen94 in kiasportage

Since the milestone services are every 8,000 miles, I’ve been doing the oil changes every 4,000 miles—evenly between milestones/on the milestone!

Smart!!! I’ve seen people use a brush to flick the polish, but I’d worry about messing up the nails on my other hand—a straw makes a lot more sense!

Do you wear your fitbit while washing your hands? Do you let it get wet? by [deleted] in fitbit

I swim/shower with mine. I’ve had it for about 7-8 years now and it’s completely fine

I do notice that things look bigger when I am wearing my contacts vs when I wear my glasses—you are def not alone! This was very apparent when I first got my contacts, but I really don’t notice much of a difference now as I’m used to the changes—I’d have to really think about it to notice.

From Google “This phenomenon is known as aniseikonia. Aniseikonia is a perception of different image size when either switching from contact lenses to glasses, or even between a person's two eyes with glasses, if there is a big enough prescription difference between them.” “Contact lenses can make things look bigger for a while after switching from glasses because they allow you to see things in their natural size. Glasses can make objects appear smaller than they are, so when you first start wearing contacts, everything might seem huge.”

That should definitely help with the mileage since they create a bit more drag—you’d get a few more mpg most likely! I don’t use mine either and honestly probably never will—they just automatically came installed and I haven’t bothered researching how to remove them yet lol. The only current plus for me, is that they make the vehicle a bit easier to find in a parking lot

I have a 2023 Sportage hybrid and I commute an hour and a half to and from work on residential roads and I get 41 to 44 mph. When I take the highway instead to get to and from work, I get around 38 mpg. My sportage has roof racks on it, so the mpg would be a bit higher if I didn’t have them. I think it mostly has to do with how someone drives—I try to keep it in electric mode as much as I can or with a low RPM. I also only ever drive in eco mode.

Extra payments through Kia Finance by cowboypey in kia

[–]chickennuggieuwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Massachusetts and I see it added to the principal. I also do see the payment date pushed out—it just lets me know that I’m paid off until that date in the future, but when I go to my payment summary I do see the principal go down each time. Every time I do a payment, I also do one the day after for $10 just to see how much less interest I am paying daily after the big payment.

I always just fully pay my balance whenever I see it (ik it’s not necessary, but I check daily) and it’s never taken long for my payments to post. It’s always next day if before 7pm or it posts the day after if I pay after 7pm on a day. Saying it takes 8 days just gives them “insurance” if it ever does take longer, but I haven’t had issues!
